Gérard is also Founder and President of MD Start, Chairman of Moon Surgical, Director of the Board of Pixium Vision and Limflow, and is Venture Partner at Sofinnova.

Investment Director at Bpifrance Investissement, Philippe graduated from École Polytechnique Montréal and holds a MBA from INSEAD. He has over 20 years of investment experience in life sciences.
Emmanuelle Coutanceau,

Partner at Novo Holdings, Emmanuelle has more than 10 years of venture capital experience. Before joining Novo Holdings, she was a partner at Auriga Partners, specializing in life sciences, and worked at Omnes Capital. She serves on the boards of Draupnir, Minervax, IO Biotech, Heparegenix and Inthera.
Louis de Lillers,

CEO of CorWave since 2015, Louis has over 10 years of experience in the fields of LVAD and venture capital. He previously co-founded PlugMed, a medtech company and worked at Clipperton Finance and Sofinnova Partners. Louis graduated from EDHEC Business School and holds a university degree in artificial heart and circulatory support from Pitié-Salpêtrière.
Raúl Martín-Ruiz,

Partner at Ysios Capital, Raúl graduated with a PhD degree in neurosciences. He has more than 25 years of experience in life sciences including academia, pharma and venture capital. He sits on the board of Anaconda Biomed, and previously of STAT Diagnostica (acquired by Qiagen), Prexton Therapeutics (acquired by Lundbeck) and MedLumics.
Marie Meynadier,

A graduate from Sup Telecom with a doctorate from Ecole Normale Supérieure, she has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of medical technologies and high-tech. Over her career, Marie has led major national and international development programs that have led to the creation of several start-ups in the fields of electronics, optics and microelectronics. She has been exclusively dedicated to EOS imaging since 2008.
Jim Schuermann,

Jim has over 20 years of experience in medical devices, including more than a decade in LVADs. He was instrumental in transforming HeartWare, an LVAD start-up valued around $100M when he joined, into a $Bn Nasdaq-listed company. As Senior VP Sales & Marketing he led a rapid commercial scale-up from 0 to about $300M in annual sales. After HeartWare’s $1.1Bn acquisition by Medtronic in 2016, he became Vice President and General Manager of Medtronic’s Mechanical Circulatory Support Division. Prior to joining HeartWare, Jim spent nearly a decade at Boston Scientific. In 2018, he joined Avedro, an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical device company acquired by Glaukos in late 2019 for about $450M, as Chief Business Officer.
Kinga Stanislawska,

Kinga has 20 years of experience in investments and finance. She is a founder of Experior VC, investing in scaleups and growth companies. She is active in supporting women-led companies as mentor and investor. She established the European Women in VC platform with the aim of increasing the number of female partners at venture funds across Europe. Kinga is an Investment Committee Member of the EIC Fund and Board Member of the European Innovation Council. Kinga was a Management Board Member of the Polish VC Association for 5 years. She sits on the board of private and public companies (Ten Square Games, Tylko). She was named one of the top 50 women in tech in Europe by Forbes.
