Job description
As an R&D Engineer in Electronics and Test Bench, you will be involved in the evaluation, testing, and redesign of electronic systems at CorWave.
You will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Specification, development, and fine-tuning of V&V test benches for electronic products (electronic focus)
- Specification, development, and fine-tuning of production test benches (electronic focus with a good understanding of software tools and mechanical aspects)
- Design reviews of electronics to assess compliance with applicable standards
- Preparation and execution of formal verification tests (defining relevant test cases based on device usage conditions and regulatory requirements)
- Conducting preliminary tests, on-site or in collaboration with testing laboratories
- Developing test protocols and reports
- Managing interactions with laboratories involved in test execution.
Qualifications
- You hold a generalist degree with a focus on electronics
- You have between 5 and 10 years of minimum experience in conducting verification testing in the field of medical devices or in demanding environments (high production quality) such as aerospace, aeronautics, automotive, or other regulated mechanical industries
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is recommended for this position (international environment).
Specific Knowledge
• Knowledge of standards regarding the use of electrical devices for medical applications, particularly IEC 60601-1
• Mechanical knowledge.
