Job description

As a 3D Metrology Quality Control Technician, you will play an active role in guaranteeing the safety and quality of our devices.

Your mission? Accurately check the conformity of parts and assemblies, ensuring product reliability in line with the most stringent standards and technical specifications.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Part design phase

  • Collaboration in the definition of methods and checking fixtures adapted to the required levels of precision
  • Collaboration in the definition of appropriate sampling.
  • Preparation of inspection programs for the coordinate measuring machine.

Part acceptance phase

  • Carry out dimensional and geometric measurements of parts, using appropriate means (gauges, conventional metrology tools, CMMs, visual checks, etc.).
  • Check conformity of incoming products, work-in-process, and finished products.
  • Technical inspections (mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc.)
  • Drafting of inspection reports and organization of internal approvals
  • Ensure that in-house dimensional inspection methods are appropriate for the parts and sub-assemblies to be produced
  • Carry out in-house quality checks on our parts and sub-assemblies.

Qualifications

  • You have at least a BTS, DUT, Titre Professionnel or Licence Pro in production engineering, quality management or physical measurements for industry (food and bio-industry quality, industrial logistics and organization quality, metrology, quality control, quality coordinator, industrial production management…).
  • You have at least 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position (internship, work-study program, etc.) in an industrial environment (agri-food, aeronautics, automotive, medical devices, etc.).
  • Fluency in English (reading and oral comprehension) is essential for this position (international environment).
Specific knowledge
  • Familiarity with standard dimensional control tools.
Technical skills
  • ISO dimensioning and GPS geometrical specifications
  • Use of coordinate measuring machines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
