Job description
As part of the specifications provided by the R&D team, the Process Development Engineer will have the primary mission of ensuring the development and validation of manufacturing processes for medical devices.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Transferring product design into manufacturing process specifications
- Designing and implementing manufacturing processes
- Performing process characterization to ensure reliability and performance
- Ensuring the validation of test methods
- Leading and executing process validation to ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Implementing monitoring systems to ensure ongoing process compliance
- Overseeing the preparation of documents associated with the Device Master Record (DMR).
Qualifications
- You hold at least a Master of Science (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Technical skills
- Build and maintain a detailed operational schedule.
- Establish a budget, ensure strict tracking, and optimize allocated resources.
- Manage both internal and external relationships with partners, suppliers, and clients. The Process Development Engineer will also serve as a technical reference for the team and CorWave.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project for project management.
- Expertise in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices, with mastery of technical drawings, production machines, and regulatory standards.
- Strong skills in project management, data analysis, process validation, and continuous product improvement.
