Presentation of the missions

Working in CorWave’s English-speaking and multicultural environment, as part of the Electronics team, you will be responsible for the design, development and production of medical devices. You will lead the design and development aspects of the project as a senior team member.
Your responsibilities will cover the following:
– Developing new products and manufacturing processes.
– Identify all tasks required to complete the project tasks according to the design control procedures.
– Propose technical solutions and a schedule to achieve the programmes within the given timeframe.
– Design for manufacturing, inspection and optimum cost.
– Perform or participate in root cause analysis for problem resolution.
– Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive protocol for product testing/analysis.
– Contribute to or manage product evaluation.
– Prepare final specifications for new products or modify existing specifications.
– Create or update product design quality assurance documentation.
– Perform analysis on new or existing designs
– Generate and/or manage the creation of prototype models to evaluate design concepts.
– Take the lead on some activities. In this context, you will be required to manage schedules, accurately estimate costs and make expenditure projections.
– You may be required to supervise interns, technicians or junior engineers (who will continue to report to the R&D Manager).

Profile required

To carry out these tasks, you will need to have the following skills:
– Knowledge of mitigation, shielding and test methods for EMC and ESD design.
– Knowledge of electrical safety and medical device standards.
– Expertise in Altium and Spice software packages (PSpice, LTSpice, etc.)
– In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, PCB design, routing, manufacturing and testing, component design and selection, microelectronics.
– Experience in analogue electronics, low voltage power electronics used for actuator control, real-time operating systems, control systems using microprocessors and FPGAs for motor and motion control.

You have a background in electronics engineering and have acquired at least 5 years of relevant professional experience (preferably in medical devices).
You are self-motivated and want to invest in a young innovative company. You speak and write French perfectly and have a very good level of English which will enable you to communicate with our non-French speaking colleagues.
You have a real sense of service, you know how to manage priorities, you are rigorous and dynamic, but you also have good interpersonal skills which are essential for this position.
