Job description

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and regulatory affairs activities, in particular the implementation and management of the quality management system.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

– Participating in the implementation and management of the quality management system

– Managing and maintaining the document change order system

– Managing the training process and maintaining training requirements for each position within the company

– Updating the standards database (ISO 13485 and 21 CR Part 820)

– Participation in the risk management process

– Participation in quality management activities (such as CAPA, internal audits, supplier management activities, etc.).

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years’ higher education from an engineering school specializing in industrial biology (EBI), with a focus on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, quality and regulations
  • You have at least 1 to 3 years’ experience (internship, work-study program, etc.) in a similar position in the medical device sector, in a regulated industry and within a multifunctional organization
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position (international environment, reading and writing in English…).
Technical skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret medical device regulations and standards and apply them consistently
  • Good documentation practices (document control, change management, etc.)
  • Database management
  • Ability to negotiate diplomatically with internal and external resources
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to generate measurements and electronic displays.
