Job description

As an Electronic Technician, your main mission will be the assembly and integration of electrical and electronic systems, as well as the implementation of tests in the laboratory.

You will work on prototypes and equipment under development, closely collaborating with engineering and production teams.

You will also be responsible for working on electronic boards, performing soldering, measurements, and functionality tests to ensure they operate correctly.

You will be responsible for the following tasks :

  • Assembling and mounting electronic and electrical equipment according to technical plans and diagrams
  • Wiring electronic boards, electrical cabinets, or other devices following the provided instructions
  • Performing functionality tests on assembled equipment (checking continuity, insulation, etc.)
  • Conducting initial diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting of systems in case of malfunction
  • Participating in the preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to improve prototypes and equipment under development
  • Documenting and updating technical records related to the interventions performed
  • Ensuring compliance and quality of the work according to current standards.

Qualifications

  • You hold at least a bachelor’s degree or a two-year technical diploma (Bac/Bac+2) in electronics, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field
  • A minimum of initial experience in assembling/wiring electronic or electrical equipment
  • Proficiency in technical English is recommended for this position (technical documentation).
Specific knowledge
  • Reading and understanding electrical and electronic schematics
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues efficiently and quickly.
Technical skills
  • Proficiency in wiring techniques and electronic equipment assembly
  • Familiarity with common testing tools and instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope…)
  • Skill in repairing electronic boards: ability to solder and desolder surface-mount components (SMD).
